| | StickyLeftover | Jun 27, 2:58pm | So, my husbands sister is getting married.
On a boat, during the day. No one has said anything, but that sounds pretty semi-formal to me. Unless they rented some huge cruse ship and are using the formal ball room. I really don't know.
Anyways, to the issue:
I went dress shopping today. Me. Trying on clothing. For two hours. I looked like a box. One of them made me look a little like a pregnant box. I'm not a dress type of girl. I couldn't find a single thing with a cinched in waist, and unfortunately, I'm pretty broad shouldered, broad hipped, kinda chunky while we're at it. It just wasn't very good in an all around kinda way.
So i bought some decent dress slacks, slinky, fit nice. A yellow printed halter and a nice stripped half sleeved button up to go over it.
Can I wear this to a wedding? A southern wedding? Me and my in-laws aren't very... close. Its gotten better, but i really don't wanna piss anyone off. Although I mind that slightly less then wearing a pillow case to a formal event.
Er.
Pants.
Yes? No? |

|
| | | StickyLeftover | Jun 27, 3:28pm | I think it should be too. As someones sister said, Its her wedding, she shouldn't worry about what I'm wearing.
But its not the bride im scared of, its the mother of the bride. |
